About Stretch Clock
StretchClock is dedicated to reminding office workers to stretch. The stretches are targeted to provide relief from and reduce the risk of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Repetitive Stress Injury (RSI).
Anyone who uses a computer for more than an hour at a time should consider using StretchClock.
I am not a doctor or clinician. I have been a computer professional for most of my life.
Stretching my shoulders, neck, and back has literally saved my career. I developed this gadget and web site to help others avoid the painful results of hunching over a keyboard for years on end.
The neck exercises, back exercises, shoulder exercises, and wrist exercises have been gleaned from books and from my personal conversations with physical therapists.
The model is not a professional. He is my friend and band mate. (We play in the rock band Fanny Alger )
Every body is different. Please exercise no more than you are comfortable. By using this site you agree to not be stupid or sue happy. This site is not meant to replace a professional clinician's opinion. By using this web site you agree to the terms of use.
STOP USING STRETCHCLOCK if you feel any:
- Numbness
- Tingling
- Burning
- or Shooting Pains
I hope you enjoy the site. Please feel free to send your ideas and comments.
